Cannot Delete User as the Admin

Hello,

Looking for help as I cannot delete our general marketing user access in our Insightly. We have two users for the account (both are Administrator), we just want to remove one.

Does this mean only the Account Owner can delete another Administrator from the account. Attached a screenshot to see what I mean. Help would be very much appreciated!

  • Hi Hart,

     

    For security reason, the Account owner cannot be deleted. The account owner will need to be changed before they can be deleted.

     

    Changing the account owner on your Insightly account is a quick and easy process. I have included a quick video that highlights this quick simple process. Feel free to find it here.

     

    This article also shows you the steps needed to do so. Please note that if your account owner is no longer with the company, an Admin can also make this change.

    Just to clarify- Is the Account Owner the only one who can delete other Administrator accounts?

  • Hello, would just like to say that this issue has been resolved. Thank you, J.P. for the help! Took me a while to understand the instructions but yes, was able to transfer ownership of the account.
