Copilot includes monthly query limits based on your plan. This article explains how query limits work, what happens when you reach your limit, and how to purchase additional queries with Auto-Stop Protection.
Understanding Your Query Limit
What's included in my plan?
Your monthly Copilot queries depend on your plan type:
Plan | Monthly Queries |
|---|---|
Professional | 75 queries per seat |
Enterprise | 100 queries per seat |
Plus | Copilot not available |
Trial | 75 queries total (for entire trial) |
How does the query pool work?
All users on your account share one query pool. Your total available queries are calculated as:
Queries per seat × Number of CRM seats
Example: A Professional plan with 10 seats receives 750 queries per month (75 × 10) shared across all users.
When do queries reset?
Your query pool resets on the 1st of every month at 12:00 AM in your company's default timezone. You can track your usage in System Settings > Copilot, which shows "This Month: X / Y queries used."
What Happens When You Reach Your Limit?
When your account reaches 100% of its monthly query limit:
Non-admin users see a message: "Contact your admin"
Admin users are prompted to review Copilot settings
Trial users are prompted to convert to a paid plan
Copilot will be unavailable until either:
You enable Auto-Stop Protection (paid plans only), or
Your queries reset on the 1st of the next month
Auto-Stop Protection
Auto-Stop Protection automatically purchases additional queries when you reach your limit, so your team can keep using Copilot without interruption.
Pricing
$19 per 100 queries
Charges apply to your entire account
You'll receive an invoice via Stripe each time additional queries are purchased
How to enable Auto-Stop Protection
Go to System Settings > Platform Tools > Copilot
Toggle Auto-Stop Protection ON
When your account reaches 100% usage, the system will automatically charge $19 and add 100 queries to your pool
What if payment fails?
If the automatic charge fails:
The system retries when you reach 103% of your base allocation
If the retry also fails, Copilot pauses at 105% usage until your next billing cycle
Note: You receive a 5% courtesy buffer if payment processing fails.
Usage Notifications
You can opt in to receive email alerts when your account reaches 90% of its monthly query limit.
How to enable notifications
Go to System Settings > Platform Tools > Copilot
Select Enable For Specific CRM Users
Check Auto-Stop Notifications for each user who should receive alerts
If no users opt in to notifications, alerts are sent to the billing owner.
Trial Accounts
Trial accounts have different Copilot limits:
Query limit: 75 total queries for the entire trial (regardless of number of users or plan selected)
Auto-Stop Protection: Not available
Hard stop: Copilot blocks at exactly 75 queries with no courtesy buffer
When you reach the limit during your trial, users will see: "Your organization has reached its monthly Copilot usage limit. To avoid interruption, please upgrade to a paid plan."
After converting to a paid plan
Once you convert from a trial to a paid plan:
You receive the standard query allocation based on your plan and seat count
Auto-Stop Protection becomes available to admins
Your queries reset according to your billing cycle
