Sometimes, you'll want to create a new contact based on another person's information. Cloning a contact will start a new contact with all of the same contact details from the original.
For example, if you're adding multiple contacts for the same company, you can create the first contact, and then use it as a template for other contacts through cloning.
To clone a contact:
- Open a contact.
- Click the Actions menu and select Clone This Contact.
- An Add New Contact form will open, and it will contain all the details of the original contact. Make changes to reflect the new contact.
- Click Save.
