What is Quote sync and how does it work?
Answer
Quote sync gives you the ability to update an Opportunity based on an approved Quote.
Few things to consider:
- While you can create multiple Quotes associated with an Opportunity, you can only have one Quote synced at a time.
- Syncing a Quote with the Opportunity will replace the original Opportunity value and will no longer be editable manually.
- Instead, the Opportunity value will be updated automatically based on the Quote it is synced with.
- Only if you un-sync a Quote from an Opportunity will give you the option to edit the Opportunity value again.
