How Does Auto Stop Protection Work?
Once an AppConnect account reaches 90% of its task limit for the current month, Auto Stop Protection will automatically bill the credit card on file $249.00 USD and an additional 25,000 tasks will be added to the account. This additional charge and addition of tasks occurs to ensure that accounts do not exceed their task limit for the month. Once Auto Stop Protection has been applied to an account and the additional 25,000 tasks have been added, these tasks do not roll over to the subsequent month, e.g. on the first of the subsequent month, accounts that have utilized Auto Stop Protection will restart at their defined plan limit of tasks.
If the task limit for a month is exceeded, all integrations and data sync operations will stop for the remainder of the month and cannot be restarted. Once integrations and data sync operations have ceased, users must manually start all recipes on the first of the subsequent month when their plan limit of tasks renews.
Restarting Stopped Recipes
If the task limit for a month is exceeded, all integrations and data sync operations will stop for the remainder of the month, but can be automatically restarted under certain conditions. Otherwise, once integrations and data sync operations have ceased, users must manually start all recipes on the first of the subsequent month when their plan limit of tasks renews. Recipes that have been stopped due to 100% task usage can be automatically restarted if:
- If auto-stop protection is enabled and user is successfully billed for an additional 25,000 tasks within 10 minutes of the 100% usage event.
- If auto-stop protection has recently been enabled or if the user’s payment was not able to be charged.
- The time at which the recipe was stopped falls within the same month of the 100% usage event.

Enabling and Disabling Auto Stop Protection
Users can enable auto stop from 'Enable Auto-stop Protection' button via System Settings> AppConnect. Auto Stop Protection is automatically enabled once credit card information has been applied to the account. Removing the credit card information will disable Auto Stop Protection and could result in integrations and data sync operations to cease functioning in the event that an accounts task limit is reached.
