Landing Page Templates Overview

Landing page templates allow users to create a layout for landing pages that can be utilized repeatedly. Templates are useful for communications such as product announcements or any landing page that requires the same layout every time.

How do Landing Page Templates Work?

A landing page template is a customized layout for content on a landing page that can be reused for multiple pages as applicable. Templates are created via the Designer Tool and once they are created, they are available within the Template step of the Designer Tool to select when creating a landing page.

Create a Landing Page Template

Navigate to Landing Pages via the objects on the left side of Insightly Marketing. Click the Landing Page Templates button to change the view from landing pages to templates.
To create a landing page template, click the New Landing Page Template button in the upper right.
1. The Add New Landing Page Template popup will appear where template details and permissions can be applied.
2. When the landing page template details have been entered click Save. The next step in creating a landing page template is the Design step. This step is where the Designer Tool is utilized, and the landing page template design can be customized.

Landing Page Template Actions

When editing or deleting a landing page template these actions can be done via two different routes:

Route 1: Via the list view of landing page templates, the three dots menu on the far right of a template can be clicked and the applicable function can be chosen from the expanded list.

Route 2: Via the list view of landing page templates, a template record can be opened. Once opened, the Actions drop-down in the upper right corner can be clicked and the applicable function can be chosen from the expanded list.

Edit a Landing Page Template

To edit a landing page template, navigate to Landing Pages via the objects on the left side of Insightly Marketing and click the Landing Page Templates button in the upper right.
1. From the landing page template list view, locate the template that requires editing.
2. Click either the three dots menu to the far right of the template in the list view or click the Actions button in the upper right of the template record. From the available options, select Edit This Template Design.

Clone a Landing Page Template

To clone a landing page template, navigate to Landing Pages via the objects on the left side of Insightly Marketing and click the Landing Page Templates button in the upper right.
1. From the landing page template list view, locate the template that requires cloning.
2. Click either the three dots menu to the far right of the template in the list view or click the Actions button in the upper right of the template record. From the available options, select Clone This Landing Page Template Design.

Preview a Landing Page Template

To preview a landing page template, navigate to Landing Pages via the objects on the left side of Insightly Marketing and click the Landing Page Templates button in the upper right.
1. From the template list view, locate the template to preview.
2. Click either the three dots menu to the far right of the template in the list view or click the Actions button in the upper right of the template record. From the available options, select Preview.

Change the Record Owner of a Landing Page Template

To change the record owner of a landing page template, navigate to Landing Pages via the objects on the left side of Insightly Marketing and click the Landing Page Templates button in the upper right.
1. From the landing page template list view, locate the template that requires a new owner.
2. Click either the three dots menu to the far right of the template in the list view or click the Actions button in the upper right of the template record. From the available options, select Change Record Owner.
  1. Select the applicable new owner from the drop-down and click Change Owner.

Delete a Landing Page Template

NOTE: Once a landing page template is deleted it cannot be recovered and it will not appear in the recycle bin.

To delete a landing page template, navigate to Landing Pages via the sections on the left side of Insightly Marketing and click the Landing Page Templates button in the upper right.
1. From the landing page template list view, locate the template that requires deletion.
2. Click either the three dots menu to the far right of the email in the list view or click the Actions button in the upper right of the template record. From the available options select Delete This Landing Page Template.
