Insightly Platform

Add Delete and Replace User option in User List

We're introducing a new functionality to streamline the process of deleting a user and adding a new user simultaneously, with the new user inheriting the existing user license from the deleted user. In the System Settings -> User Lists, there will be a new option in the Actions menu dropdown, labeled "Delete And Replace User." Through this feature, users can create a new replacement user and reassign records from deleted user to that new user by choosing "New Replacement User” option from the dropdown and then clicking on ‘Delete and Replace User’ button to complete the process.

Add AppConnect Recipe to Field History Tracking

We previously updated the Field History Tracking to capture which Workflow Automation altered records. We are now extending this functionality to AppConnect recipes by incorporating the AppConnect Recipe ID into the Field History Tracking. This enhancement will indicate which recipe made a change to a record, helping users who manage multiple AppConnect recipes identify the specific one used.

Add Opportunity Pipeline Stage Tracking to Projects

We already have a pipeline stage tracking built into Opportunities. This includes a related grid that displays the stage duration for each individual opportunity, and we have the opportunity stage duration report that shows stage durations across all opportunities. Now, we’ve added pipeline stage tracking to Projects, which will include a related grid displaying the stage duration for each project and a Project stage duration report showing stage durations across all projects.

Here is a link to our help documentation for How to setup a Pipeline.

Include Owner column in Exports

When exporting new records or updating existing records for Opportunities, Projects, and Leads, there hasn't been an owner column in the export process. However, you could get the owner column in exports of Contacts and Organizations. We've now introduced an Owner column for Leads, Opportunities and Projects exports (e.g., 'Opportunity Owner') similar to the one we have for Contacts and Organizations exports.

Add Project Fields to Dynamic Lists

Currently, users cannot create dynamic lists based on project fields, although they can do so for opportunity fields. We are now enabling users to create dynamic lists based on project fields.

Add Google Click ID Field to UTM Touchpoints

We are introducing a new field labeled 'GCLID' to record the Google Click ID within UTM Touchpoints whenever a new visitor lands on a website monitored by Insightly Marketing. This GCLID field will appear under UTM touchpoints in the Prospect Related grid and will also be included in the following reports containing Visit UTM fields.

  • Visitor Web Pages Viewed Report
  • Visitor Web Page Activity Report
  • Paid Social Media Traffic Report
  • Organic Social Media Traffic Report

Marketing Enhancements

To prevent customers from being impacted by shared IPs without dedicated IP purchases, we are introducing multiple IP pools. Customers will be allocated to specific pools determined by their reputation that will be computed on the backend.

  • Suspension warning message for Marketing customers between 50% and 70% reputation.
    When a customer's reputation
is between 50% and 70%, they can continue sending emails. However, a cautionary message will appear on the home page, stating, "Your email sending reputation is low and must be improved, or email sending will be suspended."
  • Email sending capability suspended for Marketing customers with less than 50%
In the event that a customer's reputation drops below 50%, their email sending privileges will be suspended, accompanied by a message on the home page indicating, "Email sending has been suspended as your email reputation score is too low."
Please contact Customer support for help.

Insightly AppConnect

Add Initiated User ID to Field value collection

The Initiated User ID field has been added to Webhooks and AppConnect. This field returns the ID of the User that initiated an action on a record by clicking a custom button or executed a list action. In AppConnect, it will only show up in custom triggers in CRM, Marketing and Service Apps. If the action was initiated through a system process such as Workflow Automation, the field value will be null.
