Notification Issue

Im having an issue with notifications. At first I thought it was something with a spam filter or being blocked by my email, but I have check into this and this isn’t the issue. It appears im not getting a notification for anything inside of insightly. When I go to the bell icon, none of the notifications show up there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry to hear that's happening. While I can see that there are items you're following. It appears the issue with the bell icon not showing your new notification items has been reported. So we'll definitely keep you posted on that. 

    In regards to notifications you receive via email, you wouldn't receive notifications for items you've already completed. Since you have 2 users, you can test by completing an item or task for your other user. Then the 2nd user should receive a notification. Just make sure the 2nd user has their notifications settings set-up to receive email notifications for items they follow. 

    And I know you said you checked your spam, often the most reliable fix is:

    1) Add Insightly to your contacts list, here's all our addresses to cover our bases:

    a) notifications@insightly.com.

    b) exports@insight.ly.

    c) notifications@insightlycrm.com

    2) and add our domain names (insightly.com and insight.ly) to your approved senders list (whitelist).

  • Hi Erin,

     

    Thanks for looking into this. I have already went through the outlined steps in 1. & 2. It appears I'm not getting notifications in the system (under the bell icon), so thats why I'm not getting notifications through an email alert. 

     

    Is there any update on the known issue?

  • Thanks for catching that Thom! It looks like our engineers have already reported this issue where the bell icon is not displaying new notifications. We'll keep you posted when we have an update. Thank you for your patience in the mean time!

  • Hi,

    We also have a problem with notifications. When I assign a task to my collegue (activity sets), she does not receive a notification anymore in her email on the date the reminder is set. I did not get these notifications and I do not want them, but now I do get a notification that something has changed in a task. But the biggest problem is that the one that the task is assigned to does not get the reminder in her email (mxxxtz@dxxs.nl).  Can you help with this?

  • Hi!

    Is there any update on this issue? 

    I'd love to upgrade my plan, but I'm finding it hard to justify with this feature not working. We've integrated with Zapier to have our leads imported into Insightly. From here, we need to be notified of the new tasks that are assigned to these leads.
