Scanning business card limit

Please can we find out if the limit on business cards being scanned can be changed? We really need more capacity than 30.

Thanks

  • Hi Anna,

The per user, per month limits of the business card scanner are set by the plan type you have at this point, maxing at 50 per user, per month on the Enterprise plan.  You can read more about it in our Pricing Plans document.

  • Dan obviously just the term enterprise level in itself usually means unlimited or at least a vast amount of information can be stored, uploaded etc. So why is the maximum card scan 50? If the technology within insightly is not intelligent enough why have you not partnered with a company that can deliver a better solution? As some one looking at various CRMs, this inability to scan more cards even further down at the more basic level package let alone the enterprise level is potentially going to stop both myself and colleagues using this this CRM. Is this something being addressed if so how and by when? Thanks.

  • We do events where we can gather 100 + cards at a time per event and the limit to scanning is really hindering our ability to maximize our contacts. I can easily have 300 cards in a month. Is there any plan to increase to unlimited card scan??

  • The fact that this company is using real people to transcribe business cards is beyond me.  I'm forced to use this platform by my employer, and I would rather stick a hot fork in my eye.  In(UN)sightly using price-wall gating, for standard features that are found in other CRM platforms, is shameful.  Having a hard cap on number of business cards is ridiculous.  THE FACT THAT THIS THREAD HAS ONLY HAD ONE DEV COMMENT 2 YEARS AGO IS A PROBLEM.  I feel for the users tricked into using this software by misleading sales practices.

Edit: for grammar and to let you know I have a paid seat through my company, so I'm not some random off the street.

Edit2: And put a down vote button for comments on this board so I can down vote Dan P.'s response.
