Cant import contacts

Hi.. Recently purchased Insightly but the very first thing I try to do, doesn't work. In your mail: "Task Reminder: 1. Add your customers to Insightly" , you explain how to import my contacts from Gmail... But after I accept the merge from Gmail to Insightly, i just get a loading icon inside the Import Google Contacts window...

Please help me fix this error

  • Hey Jeppe,

    Did you manage to upload your contacts? I got the loading icon too. Try exiting out, then going back into contacts and clicking Importing contacts and notes, Import your contacts from Gmail again. That seemed to do the trick for me to get my list of Gmail contacts to appear.

    I keep getting that same loading icon when I try to "import contacts and notes". I've tried logging out and back in, but that doesn't seem to work. Also, I would like to invite my co-worker, and can't seem to figure out how to do this.

  • @Lynn- I show you have two accounts (Non Google Apps and Google Apps) with Insightly which account are you having trouble with on your import and which account are you trying to add a user to?

  • Hi Nora,

    That's actually another problem I'm having. Lol. My co-worker, Tara, invited me to the account she created after I had already created my own account. I would like to just be on one account with her. Should I delete the account I created, and then I can log on to the one she created? It won't allow me to log on to her account currently.

  • It's not letting me select the "Ok, let's go!" button when I try to create my login/password for Tara's account.

    I figured out the problem, and got it to work! That button is impossible to select unless you completely minimize the window. Just FYI. Might wanna fix that!
