Customize Fields that Display on List Layouts

Every company has different pieces of information that are most important to them. Especially when calling down a list of Leads, it would be great to have the ability to customize what we see right there. 

If I don't care about their company name, but would rather see the Status of the Lead, for example, that level of flexibility would be great.

  • This is total crap that you would claim to develop a quality program for business users without this feature.  This program is for amateurs.

  • @Charlie Sanford What are you 12? If you don't have a constructive comment, just keep it to yourself. Insightly is very, very good. Not perfect, but no software is.

    This is actually extremely important to the management of leads and I would really hope this is developed ASAP. It seems there are certainly enough cry outs for it!!

  • I find it a bit crazy that as a CRM Insightly doesn't allow the editing of the columns in the Lead view. I want to add the date created and the last touch date. That way I can ensure leads aren't going stale. When is this feature going to be ready to use? Please advise asap. Thanks.

  • I have just come off a heated concall with my business partners explaining how to get around the lack of custom column by using filters. Its cumbersome and they were off processing leads using spread sheets. Not only does the lack of this feature make lead processing a bit cumbersome its  discouraging my biz partners to not use insightly at all.

    This discussion is over 2 years old. Is there any progress at all on providing this feature.

  • I also would like this feature added. It would be so helpful if we could customise the columns in the leads view. For example, we would like to see the last activity date in the leads view if possible.

  • Custom List Columns hasn't been added yet? So many people have expressed the need for it. Our team has been on the fence between choosing Zoho or Insightly. Preference was leaning towards Insightly until we found out that Zoho has this function, and Insightly doesn't.

    Please let me know if the Insightly team is planning on adding this anytime soon!

  • think this sort of functionality is imperative for leads, opportunities and projects.  seems pretty basic.  would make sorting and managing so much easier than exporting to excel.  moreover, totaling any columns that are "numeric" would also be useful. thanks.

  • UPVOTE for ability to customize the displayed fields in a list and in particular the ability to change the layout the screen for more efficient navigation.  Currently the Links are at the bottom of each screen and navigation from Contact to Organization and Organization to Contact requires you scroll all the way to the bottom and then the data displayed is minimal. If I just want the contacts email or phone number I have to click again to see the primary details of the contact and it would be more efficiency if it was displayed on screen.

    You can create a Custom List View  to make changes to the columns displayed in the New Insightly Experience that Maria mentioned above :)
