Event from Email

It seems like the easiest way to create and event and have it linked to a contact or other things is to create it straight from an email I've sent here.  Why cannot I do that?

  • Just reinforcing this idea (and surely it can't be that difficult to implement)

    For my work, I often receive emails booking me for a series of dates. I want to create events from that email so that a) I have the booking information in front of me when I'm making the events and b) that those events are then linked to the email that made the original booking so I can refer back to it down the line.

    Naturally, I then want to link the email to an Opportunity (if it is new enquiry/pencil booking) or a Project (if this has already been established)

    Feels like a massive hole to not have this sort of relationship.

  • Unfortunately, its not a feature we currently have available to be able to create an event from an email but its a great suggestion.

  • Further to my (recent) previous post - How cool would it be if Insightly extracted possible dates from said email to help you create the events.

    Another CRM I have experience of does this and it's fantastic...
