I am starting to drown in business cards.  Scanning limitations are annoying.  We have a "Plus" account with 7 users, soon we will be adding a few additional users. Currently only 3 of our 7 users will potentially use the business card scan feature. I just looked at options to increase this option and I am amazed Insightly has not found a viable solution.  The next available level "Plus to Professional" only increases by 10 additional scans per user/month.  I realize we can reach 50 scans/user/month by upgrading to the Enterprise level but this will increase our monthly premium by 368% per user.  Are there plans to 'significantly' increase the current monthly thresholds’ for business card scanning?  Offering an option to select users under current plans that allows for 100 + scans or even unlimited monthly scans with minimal increases in monthly premiums would be ideal.  With available apps on the market to accommodate business card scanning, it would makes sense for Insightly to partner with or endorse a provider that could easily integrate with Insightly Subscription plans and offer this as a value added option.

  • An add-on for more scans could be one way to go...

  • Hi Steve!

We are investigating options for adding more business card scans. We don't have a solid plan in the works currently, but it's something we know our users would find beneficial.

Once we have any further information on this we will absolutely make posts informing our users.

Also, as a workaround, there are outside business card scanning options that can be utilized and then put into a CSV file which can be imported into Insightly.

    Thank you!

  • How about account level number of scans per month, instead of assigned on a per user basis. This may even remove the need to increase limits...

Not every user will even use this feature and those who do get frustrated by limitations...
