  • Hi Martin- You can delete Activity Sets by going to System Settings > Activity Sets.

Please note: Once an activity set is associated with a pipeline stage, it cannot be deleted from the System Settings > Activity Sets page. You will need to remove it from any associated pipeline stages before you can delete it from Insightly.

  • Hi! We have the same issue. Although I have removed every association from the activities sets to the pipelines, I'm still not able to delete them since there is no trash icon appearing.

    Thanks for your prompt support.

    Kind Regards,

    Marco

  • Hi Marco,

What's the title of the Activity Set you're not able to remove under your account?

  • Hi Nora,

for some reasons, after I created a new pipeline and assigned some new set of activities to it, the old set was finally giving me the trash icon. However, they were already unlinked from all the pipelines.

It seems like removing the links in the pipelines was not triggering the trash icon to the activities sets, unless some new independent pipelines were created.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,

    Marco

  • I'm having the same problem, leads to difficulty keeping things organized.  Would be great to get this fixed.  Thanks,

  • Hi Mike, Has the Activity Set you're working with been removed from all Pipelines and/or records (Contacts, Organizations, Leads, Projects etc.) it may have been applied to?

  • How would you easily find the records that a certain Activity Set was applied to?

  • Hi Eric,

If the Activity Set was applied via a Pipeline, the easiest way to check which records had that Activity Set would be to use our Advanced Reporting system to create a custom report in which you filter by the Pipeline Name or, where appropriate, the Pipeline Stage Name.

If the Activity Set was applied by hand, however, you can only search for the task names associated with the Activity Set in question.

  • Hi, it should be possible to, if not delete, at least hide completely pipellines that are defunct.

  • Hello Ed,

Can you verify for me that the following steps were followed when trying to delete an activity set?

When deleting an activity set you'll want to start with these steps:

    1. Go to System Settings > Pipelines.
    2. Click Edit Stages.
    3. Click the edit button next to the stage that contains an activity set.
    4. Remove the activity set from the stage by selecting the blank selection, then click Save.
    5. Click the Delete button to remove the Pipeline.
    6. Repeat the steps above for the other Pipelines.
    7. Click the Activity Sets tab.
    8. Click the Delete button next to each activity set.
