Mobile Calendar

When another employee creates a calendar event in Insightly, it does not show his events on the mobile app, only the only ones that I create. It works fine when logged in on the desktop, only issue is on the mobile app. Any recommendations?

I did verify he does make his events public.

  • Hi Ryan, thank you for your post!

Currently, it's not possible to see the calendars of any other users on the mobile apps, just yours.

This is a feature we're hoping to add in the future.

  • This is huge issue.  If my sales reps and managers cannot stay up to date on the road via mobile, the app is useless in that sense.   My visibility is set to see everyone, so that should apply to the calendar also.

  • @Tara - Thank you so much for your feedback. We understand the importance for a feature like this and do have plans to add this in the future.

In the meantime, most users find that using their Google Calendar app in relation to the Insightly app works successfully.

Thank you for letting us know this feature would be useful for you as well.

  • @Tara - The account owner has the same access to their calendar and events in the mobile app at the same level as all other users on the account. The imitations in our mobile app come from the API and isn't the result of account status.

I hope that helps to clarify!

  • Has there been any headway on this since November?  This is a big issue for me as well; in fact, the calendar might be the MOST important aspect of the mobile app functions.
