Getting a report that includes all notes/emails for an opportunity

 Is there ANYWAY to go to one place, or pull a report, that show's all the notes and emails for an opportunity? Right now it can be in contacts, leads, opportunities or organizations. Because we have multiple people putting notes &/or emails, they can be under any of these tabs. It would be so helpful to be able to pull a report that has all communication in it per opportunity. Is this doable?

    In Insightly's Advanced Reporting tool you will be able to access email transaction records and notes however, they will be accessible in two different reports unfortunately. 

    Email records, along with events and tasks linked to opportunities are available inside of an Opportunity Activity Report.

    Notes, on the other hand, will be available inside of a Note Report (note reports are found in the 'Other Reports' folder). 

    Each section in Insightly, (contacts, organizations, leads, opportunities, or projects) have their own activity reports to review the history of interactions with that record so if users are adding information under all different sections there isn't going to be one central report you can pull to see this activity. 

    We have the ability to view all information in one single report as a feature request and hope to include an update in version two of advanced reporting!

  • it seems to me that the requirement to create a report that details what each user has been doing in the past period (as captured by Notes, Emails, Tasks) as well as Opportunities created, lost and won would be a general need. I'd also like the report to identify the Organization associated with the Note, Contact or Task. I can add the Org to the Activities report, but not to the Notes report.

  • I think this is very very important. The purpose of the CRM is for helping us have a better relationship with our clients, but at an opportunity level all the different points of contact/activities that are involved in an opportunity are shown separately. There is no way to have a quick reading of an opportunity progress (just the pipelin stage, which leaves lots of details out)

    In my opinion it should not be a report but a standard UI where all notes and activities are shown together in chronological order.

    But a report where the details/text body of each item (notes, emails, tasks and events) are shown by opportunity would be a great workaround!!!
