Contact Record Owner

If I am listed as a record owner for an organization, is there a way to have all contacts under that organization listed with me as record owner for all those contacts?  or do I have to go into each individual contact and change the record owner separately?

  • Hello Jacquelyn,

    At the moment you change the Record Owner for Contacts in three different ways. Keep in mind only an administrator or the current record owner can change the owner.

    Here are the three different ways this can be done:

    1. When viewing a record, click the Actions menu and select Change Record Owner

    2. When reviewing a record, click the Change Record Owner icon next to the record owner's name
    3. From the list view for some record types, like contacts, select one or more records and click the Change Record Owner button.
