How To Create Lists Using Multiple Tags?

What has replaced "the Create New List" from the drop-down menu in Contacts?

Let's say I want to filter using a certain tag variable "And" another tag variable (e.g. all contacts with "DC" and "PatentedBy" in the tag fields)

  • Hi Stephen

If you are using the new Insightly, the key is to click the gear icon and create a new list view. You can then set filters to view your data however you wish including what columns you want to see, grouping and sorting, and you save this and then clone it if you want to build a different but similar view. It's really useful.

    Here's Insightly's tutorial on this:

  • Thanks so much, Eric. Very helpful.

What if I just want to filter by one Tag "And" one other Tag? In other words, filter for contacts having both Tags. I see a lot about adding & removing "Columns".

I will review the instructions more carefully; but at first glance, how to do this didn't seem in the instructions. Any help with my specific question would be most helpful.

    Thanks again and best,

  • How can you exclude multiple tags?  I swear this used to work but now when I use custom filter views and do 'does not contain' or 'does not equal' one of our tag names it still is appearing.  It's like the tags aren't separated in the string anymore or something.
