This article contains information pertaining to updates that occur to the CRM and Service Insightly mobile applications for both iOS and Android. To gain access to the enhancements detailed below, users will be required to update the application via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store

CRM 4.10 

New Dashboard Drill Paths

  • Drill down from card to card through a dataset.
  • Drill down path breadcrumb navigation is now available.
  • A native toolbar has been added.
  • The filter bar under the toolbar is now visible.

Improved Due Dates in Task List Views

  • Improved due date display on task list views to maintain consistency across the app.

Custom Buttons

  • Added custom buttons to the mobile application that would help to quickly execute actions directly from a record.

Option to Clone Organizations 

  • New action menu option 'Clone This Organization' is available in the Organization Detail section.
  • Organizations can now be cloned through the mobile application.

Checkbox Checked by Default

  • When an opportunity is converted into a project, the check box Copy Emails, Files, and Notes will be checked by default.

Validation Rules Run Prior to Lead Conversion

  • Added a setting that runs validation rules prior to lead conversion.

Service 1.5

SMTP Error Messages displayed on Ticket Comments

  • When a ticket comment has failed to send via email, the reason will now be displayed on that comment.
  • Learn more about bounce errors.

Available Sorting and Grouping Options 

  • Following this update, the following fields are the only fields that will be available for sorting and grouping tickets.

Organizations

  • The following options are now available within an organization record’s Action Menu:
    • Add New Project
    • Add New Opportunity
    • Add New Contact

Contacts

  • The following options are now available within a contact record’s Action Menu:
    • Add New Project
    • Add New Opportunity
    • Add New Ticket

Leads

  • Users now have the option to Convert Lead to Contact within a lead record’s Action Menu.
  • A lead’s status can now be updated in mobile using the lead’s pipeline.
    • Tap a status in the pipeline to update.

Tasks

  • The following options are now available within a task record’s Action Menu:
    • Mark a Task as Incomplete
    • Change Record Owner
    • Complete Task & Clone

Tickets

  • The following options are now available within a ticket record’s Action Menu:
    • Add New Opportunity From Ticket
    • Add New Ticket For Contact
    • Add New Task For Ticket

CRM 4.8

Sign In

  • When signing into the CRM app, users can toggle the password field to show or hide the password.

Quotes

  • A Quote Status pipeline has been added to the quotes object.
    • The previous status, which is marked as complete, is displayed in green. New statuses are displayed in blue.

Calendar

  • Swiping left and right is now enabled to allow users to navigate through days in the CRM calendar.

Service 1.3

Sign In

  • When signing into the Service app, users can toggle the password field to show or hide the password.

Tickets

  • Users can apply macros to multiple tickets using bulk actions. 
    • Navigate to the tickets object within the Service app. Select tickets to apply macro to and click the macro bulk action icon.
  • Users can add inline images into ticket comments from within the Service app. Images can be inserted in between any comment text.
