Adding a reminder to a task

Each Insightly task can be set up with a reminder when it is created or edited. At the set date and time, Insightly will send an email and a push notification through our mobile apps, if you've enabled notifications for the app.

Only the person responsible for the task can set and receive the reminder. So, if you create a task but assign it to someone else, they'll need to edit the task and select the date and time.

To set a reminder:

  1. Add or edit a task.
  2. Click the Reminder field and select a date from the calendar.

  3. Click the time field and use your keypad and arrow keys to enter or select a time.
  4. Click Save.
