Need to log a customer phone call or enter notes about a call or a meeting? You have a couple of options for logging phone calls in Insightly: entering a note or logging a completed task.
Within each individual record (contact, lead, organization, project, opportunity), use the Notes subtab to enter a note. To enter a task, go to the Tasks subtab, enter a task, and mark it complete. You can then create reports in Insightly to track these activities.
Entering a call or meeting as a note
Enter the note title and text. The note date will default to the time and date you enter the note, but you can change the date to reflect the date of the actual call or meeting. Click on the File Attachments and Date of Note link that appears directly below the text box. You can enter a new date there.
