Viewing a dashboard

After you've started creating your Dashboards and Dashboard Cards, you'll want to organize everything to get to the data you need quickly. Your first stop will be your Dashboards page.

Dashboards page

To access your Dashboards, click on the Dashboards' tab in the left navigation bar.


From this page you can use:

  1. List Views
    Clicking on the Dashboards' drop-down will allow you to view the standard and custom lists of Dashboards you have created.

    By default, you will be navigated to see all the Dashboards your team has created, but you can narrow down the Dashboards you see to the ones that belong to you or a custom list you have curated.

    There is also where you'll find the Standard Dashboards.
  2. Cards button
    Clicking on the Cards button will take you to a page that lists each individual card. Learn more about this page here.

  3. Show Sidebar
    The Show Sidebar icon will open up the sidebar to the right of the Dashboards' list. You can use the sidebar to access the recycle bin.
  4. New Dashboard
    Clicking the New Dashboard will create a brand new Dashboard.
  5. Clicking on a Dashboard
    To view an individual Dashboard, click on the Card Name, which is in blue text.

Individual Dashboard configuration

When you click on an individual Dashboard, you will be able to manipulate your Dashboard however you like. You can rearrange your cards by clicking and dragging them to the area you want.


In addition, there are several other options for customizing your Dashboard.


When you click on the Actions drop-down you can:

  1. Edit your Dashboard
    After you click on Edit this Dashboard, a pop-up will appear. You will be able to change the Dashboard's name, write a description, and adjust the sharing settings. Click save when you are done.
  2. Delete your Dashboard
    Clicking on Delete this Dashboard will prompt a pop-up. You will be asked if you a certain about deleting the Dashboard. Click Delete this Dashboard.
  3. Clone your Dashboard
    Clicking Clone this Dashboard will allow you to create an identical duplicate of the Dashboard you are currently working on. You can rename the new Dashboard, write a description, and adjust the sharing settings. Click save when you are finished.
  4. Create a new Card
    Clicking on Create a new Card will take you to the Card creation screen. If you want to know more about what you can do with cards, read How to create a Dashboard Card.
  5. Change the size of every card at once.
    You can automatically change the size of all of your cards by clicking on the square icons at the bottom of the Actions drop-down. The first square signifies that the Cards are a variety of sizes. The second square changes the size of the cards to small, the third to medium, and the fourth to large.

    Changing the size of the cards this way is temporary. Once you leave the page, your cards will revert back to the size they were previously. If you want to change the size of a card permanently you will have to change the size of each card individually.
