How to delete Custom Buttons

When a Custom Button is deleted, it is removed from all Page Layouts. It will not appear in the Recycling Bin and cannot be recovered once it has been deleted.

To delete a Custom Button:

1. Go to System Settings > Objects and Fields.
   
2. Select an object and click Custom Buttons.
   
3. Find the button you want to delete. Click the three-dot menu.
4. Click Delete This Custom Button.
   
5. A warning will appear. Click OK.

Removing a Custom Button from a layout

If you still plan to use the button on other layouts, you can just remove the button from a single layout. 

1. Go to System Settings > Objects and Fields. Select an object.
   
2. Go to Page Layouts and select a layout.
   
3. Click the Custom Button to remove it.
   
4. A warning will appear. Click OK.
