Using Relative Date Values

When filtering by a date field, you can enter a relative date value such as this week, last month, 3 months ago, or last quarter instead of picking a specific date.

In the date value field, click the :info: information icon in the value field to view available relative date options.


Relative date fields are available in the following features:

Annual Dates

Users can track annual dates by selecting a relative date field and typing annually at the end of the field. This will allow you to run dynamic date filters against records that will disregard the year. Annual dates cannot exceed one year.

For example, you may want to create a report that displays all contacts with a birthday next month. To do this, create a contacts report with filter criteria of Date of Birth equal to Next Month Annually, then Insightly will fetch all contacts with a date of birth in the next month; Insightly will ignore the year of birth in the filter, so contacts with the same birth month will be returned regardless of the year they were born.
