Linking to files in Microsoft OneDrive

Microsoft OneDrive files can be linked directly to your Insightly records from the Files subtab in your records. Click the OneDrive cloud icon when you want to log in to OneDrive and create links to those files.

Since your OneDrive files are not copied or moved to Insightly, access to them will be determined by your OneDrive permissions settings for each item. If you haven't granted an Insightly user permission to view the file in OneDrive, they will not be able to open the file from Insightly.

Logging in to OneDrive from Insightly

When you click the icon, you will be prompted to log in (unless your browser is logged in already) and authorize access to OneDrive. Insightly will only access your OneDrive account when you are linking files. Click Yes to allow access.

If you have a "OneDrive for Business" account, you will need to log in each time.

You can disconnect Insightly at any time from OneDrive's application permissions settings.
