How to save emails with the Insightly Add-on for Gmail

You can save messages from your inbox or sent folder straight to Insightly with the Add-on for Gmail. There are multiple ways to do this.

You do not need to have a G Suite account connected to Insightly to use the Add-on. It will function with any Gmail account.

Quick Save

  1. Open an email.
  2. Click on the Insightly Add-on icon (on the right side of the Gmail screen). 
  3. Click Quick Save in the add-on. 
  4. You will see a message confirming the email has been saved. 

Save, Link, and More

If you need to do more than just save your email:

      1. Open an email.
      2. In the Insightly Add-on, click Save, Link, and More.

        From this screen, you can:

          • Choose to save the email recipients as leads, contacts, or none.
          • Click the checkbox to save any email attachments. By default, the box will be checked.
          • Link other records to the email.
          • Delete any contacts or leads connected to the email.
      3. Click Save when you are finished. You will see a message confirming the email has been saved.
