How to save emails with the Insightly CRM Sidebar for Gmail

Warning

You must use the G Suite account that you use to sign-in to Insightly to use all of the Sidebar's features. You will not be able to use this feature if you use a different G Suite account or if you are a non-G Suite user.

You can save messages from your inbox or sent folder straight to Insightly CRM Sidebar for Gmail. There are multiple ways to do this.

Quick Save

  1. Open an email.
  2. Click the Insightly icon (on the right side of the Gmail screen).

  3. Click Quick Save

  4. You will see a message confirming the email has been saved.

Save, Link, and More

If you need to do more than just save your email:

      1. Open an email.
      2. In the Insightly Sidebar, click Save, Link, and More.

        From this screen, you can:

          • Choose to save the email recipients as leads, contacts, or none.
          • Click the checkbox to save any email attachments. By default, the box will be checked.
          • Link other records to the email.
          • Delete any contacts or leads connected to the email.
      3. Click Save when you are finished. You will see a message confirming the email has been saved.
