How to save an email as a record with the Insightly CRM Sidebar for Gmail


You must use the G Suite account that you use to sign-in to Insightly to use all of the Sidebar's features. You will not be able to use this feature if you use a different G Suite account or if you are a non-G Suite user.

You can create a task, opportunity, lead, project, or event from an email with the Insightly CRM Sidebar for Gmail.

To create a record:

  1. Open an email.
  2. Click the Insightly icon (on the right side of the Gmail screen). 
  3. Click the dropdown under Save As.
  4. Select an object. You will be redirected to Insightly to fill out the record.
  5. Click Save.
