Enhance Report Scheduling with Quarterly Option

We're adding a quarterly scheduling option for Reports, allowing users to schedule reports to run every three months, in addition to daily, weekly, and monthly options. Quarterly reports will run as per the chosen date each quarter.

To avail this feature, navigate to Insightly CRM > Reports > Folder List > My Personal Reports, select a report, then choose Schedule. Upon selecting "Quarterly," users can specify:

  • First day of each quarter (e.g. January 1, April 1).
  • 7th to the last day of each quarter (e.g. March 25, June 25).
  • Last day of each quarter (e.g. January 31, April 31).

Resizable UI Elements

Following screens in Insightly apps now include an adjustable sidebar pane, making it easier to view items within the sidebar. The sidebar can be expanded or collapsed as needed.

Insightly CRM

Display Workflow Process Name in Field History Tracking

We previously enhanced Field History Tracking to record details of changes made by Workflow Automations, including updates to workflow triggers, processes, criteria, and actions. Now, we've expanded this feature to display Workflow Process Names in the Application column within Field History Tracking. 

This feature applies to all update actions for workflows and is visible in:

  • Field History (via the Related Tab)
  • Field History Report (via Reports Object) 
  • Field History Detail Report (via Reports Object)

This improvement enables users managing multiple workflows to quickly identify the specific process that modified or updated a record, enhancing clarity and streamlining workflow tracking and management.

Allow Calculated Field to be marked as Hidden

We have enhanced administrator permissions to allow configuring field-level security for calculated fields, similar to other field types. Admins now have the ability to mark calculated fields as "Hidden," and the system will ensure that these fields are neither displayed nor included in outputs, consistent with other hidden fields. To configure this, administrators can navigate to Insightly CRM > System Settings > Objects and Fields > Select the Object > Object Fields, choose the calculated field, and set the Field-Level Security by adjusting the permissions for the "Hidden" option.
