How to sign up for an Insightly account

How to set up an Insightly Standard Account

      1. If you are not a registered user at Insightly, select Create an account link from the Log in screen.

         
      2. If you do not want to sign up via Google or Microsoft, enter your email address and click Sign Up button.
      3. In case the domain of the new account matches that of an existing Insightly account, a warning will appear stating, "Your company already has an Insightly account. Please request your administrator to add you, or proceed to create your own account."

      4. A verification link will be sent to your email for the setup completion. Please navigate to your inbox, locate the email, and click on the verification link. This link will guide you through the final steps of setting up your account. Remember to check your spam folders and email tabs if the email is not immediately visible.


      5. On the registration screen, your email address will be automatically filled in and cannot be edited. Enter your full name and create a password with a minimum of 8 characters, ensuring it includes a special character or number for enhanced security. 
      6. Alternatively, you can use Chrome's password generation feature by entering random characters in the password field (keeping the password obscured). Right-click and choose 'Suggest Password,' then select 'Use strong password' for an automatically generated secure password.

      7. Select the "Sign Up" button. You will be required to verify through the reCAPTCHA checkbox, after which you will need to click the "Sign Up" button once more.
      8. After completing the signup process, you will receive a success message, and your trial account will be ready for use shortly.

      9. Once you log in, a popup saying 'Welcome to Insightly!' will appear. Provide your company details, including Organization name, Employee count, Industry, and Phone number, then click LET'S GOreginfo.png
      10. Enter names and email addresses for any users you would like to add to your account and click SEND INVITES. And that's it! You now have an Insightly account.

How to set up an Insightly account via Google or Microsoft

  1. If you are not a registered user at Insightly, select Create an account link from the Log in screen.

  2. If you want to sign up via Google or Microsoft, select Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft and then choose the Google or Microsoft credentials. If prompted for access, allow Insightly access to your Google or Microsoft Account.

  3. Also, Google Workspace administrators can create a different type of Insightly account that's connected to Google. "Insightly for Google Workspace" offers one extra feature: Users can log in to Insightly directly from Google.
