Changing the account owner on a paid subscription plan

When someone on your Insightly account first subscribes to a paid plan, they will automatically become the account owner. This person will receive billing renewal notices and invoices by email.

Account owners are indicated with a red icon on the System Settings > Users page.

  

If the account owner is going to leave the company or change job responsibilities, an Insightly administrator can transfer ownership to another user.

To change the account owner:

  1. Go to Billing & Account > Account Owner.
  2. Select a new owner from the list of available users.
