Field History Tracking Available for Workflow Automation

Field History Tracking will now capture data from workflow automations. When changes are made to workflow triggers, processes, criteria, and actions in Insightly CRM or to automations in Insightly Service, Insightly will record when each change was made and by whom.

Dashboard Card Colors

Users can now change the colors of various charts utilized within dashboard cards. Via Chart Properties, users can select predefined color themes or define custom themes using hex values.

New Dashboard Card Data Source: Marketing Emails

Marketing emails have been added as a data source for use in dashboards cards. Users with access to Insightly Marketing can now create dashboard cards to chart the number of emails sent or received over a set period of time by a user.

New Dashboard Card Data Source: Primary Linked Organization

When creating a dashboard card utilizing opportunity data, users can now capture data from standard fields from the primary linked organization. These fields are available for selection from the Categories and Values lists and are designated by the prefix “Organization:”.

On the Details tab for records, all standard and custom Phone fields will no longer link to Insightly Voice regardless of Insightly Voice account status. These fields will now display as standard hyperlinks.

SAML / SCIM Configuration User Interface

SAML Single Sign-On and SCIM can be used together in Insightly although implementation of SCIM is codependent on SAML. SAML and SCIM are only available on the Enterprise level plan.

Insightly Marketing

Monthly Email Sending Limit Notification

When an Insightly Marketing instance reaches 90% of the monthly email sending limit, a message will be displayed at the top of the instance (on every page) to indicate this percentage. This message will also appear when an account reaches 100% of the monthly email sending limit. These messages can be closed but it will reappear upon every page refresh and on any page visited.

When viewing the Details tab of an email, the Email Status field will display Send Error if an email is not sent for any reason (including the email sending limit or an error).

Insightly Service

Upload Attachments to Shared and Personal Macros

When creating a shared or personal macro, users now have the ability to upload an attachment to the macro. A new button (identified as paper clip icon) has been added to allow users to select and upload a file to the macro being edited or created.

Improvement: Tickets and Knowledge Article Details Sidebar Visibility

The ticket's and knowledge article's details sidebar will no longer appear in apps outside of the Insightly Service app.

Primary Email Address for Brands

Brand functionality has been enhanced with the ability for users to change the primary email address for a brand.

The Search entities (advanced) action has been added to AppConnect. Users can use this action to find entities using multiple field values and search for records with null, greater than, or less than date fields.

The New or Updated trigger has been added to the Insightly connector within AppConnect. This can be used to trigger a recipe when a record is created or updated.

The new note comment trigger has been added to the Insightly connector within AppConnect. This can be used to trigger a recipe when a comment is added to a note within Insightly CRM.

New AppConnect Action: Update Opportunity and Project Pipeline Stages

Users can update opportunity and project pipeline stages via the Update entity action in AppConnect. If the opportunity or project has no pipeline set, an error message will be displayed.

New List Membership Actions

Three new actions have been added to AppConnect to support Insightly Marketing list management:

  • Add Prospect to Static Lists - Via the Create entity action, select Prospect Static List Membership.
  • Delete Prospect from Static List - Via the Delete entity action, select Prospect Static List Membership.
  • Get Prospect’s Static List Memberships - Via the Get list of entities action, select Prospect Static List Membership.

    Updates to Record ID Value Labels

    Previously while configuring actions, Record ID labels did not identify the record’s object type. Going forward, these labels will display the associated object type. For example, a contact’s Record ID label will appear as Contact ID.
