New Features

  • Form Handlers - reCAPTCHA v3: Insightly now supports reCAPTCHA v3 for use with Form Handlers. reCAPTCHA is a free service developed by Google that helps protect websites from SPAM and abuse. It allows web hosts to distinguish between human and automated access to websites. Use reCAPTCHA v3 with Form Handlers to prevent SPAM Form submissions. Learn more.
  • Marketing - Landing Pages and Landing Page templates: Landing Pages and Landing Page Templates are now available to Insightly Marketing users on all pricing plans.

    Landing Pages are standalone web pages that prospects can “land” on or click through to from an email, a web or mobile ad, a social post, or any other hyperlink on the web. Insightly provides themed templates for users to customize, but you can also build your own template from scratch.

    Landing pages are typically used to achieve specific, short-term goals. For example, a user could create a Landing Page to promote a limited-time offer or to sell a specific product. Learn more.

  • Marketing - Profiles and Grading: Prospect Profiles and Grading are now available to Insightly Marketing users on Professional and Enterprise pricing plans.

    A Profile is used to grade Prospects that match your company’s ideal customer criteria. You can set criteria such as location, company size, job title, or other factors that you want to use to evaluate your Prospects before sending them over to your sales team using the CRM platform.

    Grades are used to determine how interested a company should be in their Prospects. Grades are based on factors and information that Prospects supply and are a useful tool to align sales and marketing teams on Lead quality. Learn more.

Product Updates

  • Dynamic Lists - Triggers update: Updated the scenarios in which Dynamic Lists are reevaluated and how often triggers are evaluated. Learn more.
  • Records - Security Details: When clicking on the padlock icon in a record, Insightly will now provide more security information. Users can now view the permissions enabled, the page layout assigned, the user responsible, the assigned profile, and the assigned role. Learn more.

  • API - Change per second limit: The number of API calls per second has increased to 10 calls per second. This limit only applies to API 3.1 or above. Learn more.

  • Quotes - Quote Line Items: Users can now reorder Quote Line Items within a Quote’s Related tab. Learn more.

  • Quotes - Pipeline: When a Quote has been denied, the status in it’s Pipeline will be marked as Denied and will now appear red to denote that it was not successful. Learn more.

  • CRM Connector - New Prospect field: When creating “A New Prospect Field from CRM” in the CRM Connector, the Update Behavior: User Responsible can be copied and synced to the Lead: User Responsible field. The only selectable Update Behavior is "CRM Value". Learn more.

  • Emails - Templates: Added 20 new Themed Email Templates to the the Insightly Marketing Email builder. Learn more.

  • CRM & Marketing - Lookup Relationship fields: Users can now create lookup relationship fields between CRM objects and Marketing objects. Learn more.

  • Journeys - Checks:

    • Registered for a Zoom Webinar: Users can now add a Step to a Journey that will check if a Prospect has registered for a Zoom Webinar. The webinar ID is required. Learn more.

    • Attended a Zoom Webinar: Users can now add a Step to a Journey that will check if a Prospect has attended a Zoom Webinar. The webinar ID is required. Learn more.

    • Clicked Redirect Link: Users can now add a Step to a Journey that will check if a Prospect has clicked a Redirect Link. The clicked Redirect Link can be tracked from a third party website or an email. Learn more.

    • Downloaded Hosted File: Users can now add a Step to a Journey that will check if a Prospect has downloaded a Hosted File. The downloaded Hosted File can be tracked from a third party website or an email. Learn more.

  • Merge Documents - Products: Users can now create Merge Documents for Product records. Merge documents are generally used by businesses to provide information about available goods and services to prospective clients. Learn more.

  • Calculated fields - Calculating values improvement: When a calculated field is saved on the create and edit pages, Insightly will now run a process in the background to automatically calculate all the record values for a custom field on newly created and existing records. Learn more.

  • Email - Templates: Redesigned the template selection process for Email Templates to function similarly to the Landing Page template selection process. Users can now select Themed, Custom, or Layout templates. This will eliminate the need to search through every template available to the user by separating the templates into appropriate sections.   • Forms - Geographic data: Insightly can now automatically fill a Prospect's Country, State, and Canadian Province on a Prospect record based on GeoIP information from a Form Post. Learn more.

  • Price Books - Standard Price Book: Insightly will now default to the Standard Price Book if no other Price Books exist.
